For years, there have been reports of so-called Black Eyed Kids (BEK), children with black eyes, who are very scary and who should under no circumstances open the door. Nobody knows what happens if a BEK is not admitted, and it remains a mystery where the scary children or beings with the deep black eyes actually come from. Skeptics suspect an urban legend behind the Black Eyed Kids, stories that are simply not true and belong in the realm of fables. The subject is extremely scary to me and a cold shiver runs down my spine.
Who are the black-eyed children
The Black Eyed Kids are children with deep black eyes, who in the known cases mostly show up at night and have a wish. They ask for admission to the apartment to make calls or they just ask questions. The first known case with a BEK occurred at the Cannock Chase National Park in the north of Birmingham in the early 1980s. In 1982 a young woman met a BEK for the first time, namely a girl with deep black eyes. At the time, all of Britain was in shock when the woman’s story became known. Many people did not believe her and there is no real proof of the existence of the girl with the jet black eyes.
In July 2013, the “Paranormal Cannock” portal reported about a second encounter with the female Black Eyed Kid. As the author Lee Brickley wrote, the story was told to him by a woman who met the scary girl. Mrs. Kelly and her daughter went for a walk in Cannock Chase National Park in May 2013. When they came to Birches Valley, they heard a child screaming, which startled them.
The mother and her daughter quickly headed for the scream, but they could not determine the origin. When they rested briefly and then turned around, they experienced the pure horror. Behind them was a girl, about ten years old, who covered her face with her hands. Mrs. Kelly asked the child about her well-being and whether it was the crying child. The girl dropped her arms crossed in front of her face and opened her eyes: the eyes were pitch black and had no iris. Startled, the mother took a step back to protect her daughter. When she turned back to the girl shortly after, it was gone without a trace. In shock, the mother and daughter went back to their apartment.
Two months after the scary encounter, Mrs. Kelly contacted blogger Lee Brickley and told him her story. She also reported that her aunt was the woman who met the quiet black-eyed girl in 1982 in the woods of the National Park north of Birmingham. Her aunt heard cries for help from a girl and finally saw on a forest path a six-year-old who was trying to escape.
The aunt caught up with the girl who turned to her. The aunt looked into pitch-black eyes and suddenly the child disappeared. The police turned on a search for the Black Eyed Kid but found no trace. Lee Brickley didn’t let the story rest and he announced on his blog intensive investigations to find the girl with the jet black eyes.
Description of black-eyed children
According to all previous reports, the Black Eyed Kids are between six and 16 years old, have pale skin and deep black pupil-free eyes. It was long unclear what happens when BEKs are let in. A Vermont couple let two of these children into their homes. When there was a knock at two in January 2015, they opened their front door. Two neglected children in the snow looked at the ground, the woman felt tremendous discomfort, and yet, after consultation with her husband, let the children into the house. The husband showered all sorts of questions on the children but received only one answer each: their parents would be here soon, they answered in a creepy voice. The children then asked if they could go to the bathroom. Shortly thereafter, the woman noticed the pitch-black eyes, which terrified her deeply, so that she dropped her cup of cocoa. Her husband also confirmed that he saw the black eyes. He suffered from nosebleeds and became dizzy. The couple’s four cats were anxious and stayed in their places.
When it became too much for the woman, she started crying. A few minutes later, the BEK showed up at the end of the hall and reported the arrival of their parents. Before the driveway, the couple saw a black car with two men sitting. Maybe it was the men in black? The Black Eyed Kids then disappeared.
The couple had to cope with the death of all four cats after the incident, and they also had serious health problems, including cancer. However, the cause of this health condition remains a mystery.
