Three days later, during the parade, the chaotic shooting broke out in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The deceased, Elizabeth ‘Lisa’ Lopez-Galvan, was 43 years old, a mother of two, an avid Chiefs fan and a distinguished DJ and host on KKFI ‘s 90.1 FM .The city’s police chief, Stacey Graves , indicated that the incident resulted from ” a dispute between several people ” and added that ” preliminary conclusions of the investigation have shown that there are no links to terrorism or violent extremists .”

The event occurred in the vicinity of Union Station , Kansas City’s central railway station, according to the local Police Department.

“There were shots fired west of Union Station, near the garage, and several people were injured ,” said police, who also reported the arrest of “two armed people.”

Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins declined to comment further, saying only that additional information would be released soon.
