Britney Spears is singing again with a new single with Will.i.am has been released.
The queen of pop has indeed released a new single , Mind Your Business, featuring singer Will.i.am. This is the second song to be released by Britney Spears after the end of her 13-year legal guardianship.Mind Your Business also marks the singer’s first reunion with Will.i.am following the international success of their song Scream & Shout, released in 2012. The song’s lyrics see Britney Spears targeting the paparazzi as she sings “They follow me, they follow me, they follow me… Everywhere I turn, Hollywood, London, Snap, snap is the sound of their snaps.”
Britney Spears also repeats the line “Mind your business, bitch” throughout the song, which is set to an electronic beat reminiscent of Will.i.am’s previous songs. This single marks the singer’s first release since her collaboration with Elton John on Hold Me Closer in 2022.
Her latest solo project with original music was 2016’s Glory. But in addition to the collaboration with Will.i.am, Britney Spears also exclusively announced a few days ago the arrival of her new autobiographical book The Woman in Me.
Described as “a brave and surprisingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope”, The Woman in Me, published by Gallery Books, will be released on October 24, but is available for presale now.
